SERVICE RATES

The Dog Dasher provides small-scale, personalized pet care with services scheduled by appointment and based on availability.

Rates below reflect standard services. Additional charges may apply for holidays, travel, after-hours appointments, special transportation needs, or other circumstances discussed in advance.

BOARDING

$45 per dog, per night

Boarding takes place inside The Dog Dasher’s personal home and includes your pup’s overnight stay, daily care, potty breaks, play and activity, structured rest, feeding according to your instructions, and plenty of attention throughout their stay.

PICKUP DAY PRICING

Your scheduled departure day is charged based on pickup time:

Before 10:00 AM: Included with Boarding

After 10:00 AM through normal pickup hours: $30 Daycare rate per dog

After normal pickup hours through 8:00 PM: $55 per dog

After 8:00 PM: Not available; pickup would need to be scheduled for the following day

After-hours appointments are not guaranteed and must be approved in advance.

SUNDAY PICKUPS & DROP-OFFS

The Dog Dasher is closed on Sundays.

Limited Sunday Boarding pickup or drop-off appointments may occasionally be available and must be approved in advance.

For Sunday pickups:

Before 10:00 AM: $35 per dog
After 10:00 AM: $55 per dog

For Sunday dropoffs:

$65 for that day, per dog

Sunday appointments are not guaranteed and are only offered when my schedule allows.

HOLIDAY BOARDING

$60 per dog, per night on designated holiday days

The Dog Dasher does not schedule Boarding drop-offs or pickups on designated holidays. Dogs already Boarding will continue receiving their normal care throughout the holiday. Holiday dates and any exceptions will be communicated in advance.

DOGGY DAYCARE

$30 per dog, per day

Daycare includes care during your pup’s scheduled appointment window with opportunities for potty breaks, fenced-yard time, play and enrichment, individual attention, and structured rest throughout the day.

Daycare is offered on a limited basis and scheduled according to availability.

Drop-off and pickup times must fall within approved appointment hours unless an exception has been arranged in advance.

PUPPY CARE

An additional $10 Puppy Care Fee per dog, per day/night applies to dogs under 1 year of age.

Puppies typically require additional potty breaks, supervision, routine management, and hands-on care throughout their stay. The Puppy Care Fee applies in addition to the standard Boarding, Daycare, or Holiday Boarding rate.

All puppies must still meet The Dog Dasher’s current Boarding and Daycare requirements and successfully complete the introduction and Trial Day process before being approved.

DROP-IN VISITS

15-Minute Visit: $15

30-Minute Visit: $20

Each Additional Dog: +$5 per visit

Drop-In Visits may include potty breaks, feeding and fresh water, medication, playtime, companionship, puppy pad changes, and other routine care discussed in advance.

The appropriate visit length will depend on the number of pets in the home and the care requested. Some households or care routines may require a 30-minute visit rather than a 15-minute visit.

CAT & OTHER PET CARE

Cat care is priced on a case-by-case basis depending on the number of pets and care required. Pricing starts at the standard Drop-In Visit rate shown above and may vary depending on the care requested.

Care for other household pets may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

TRAVEL & AVAILABILITY

Drop-In Visits are offered on a limited basis, primarily Monday through Friday by appointment.

Clients within approximately 10 minutes of The Dog Dasher are within my preferred service area. Locations farther away may be considered depending on my existing schedule and route, and an additional travel fee may apply.

All applicable pricing will be discussed before services are confirmed.

DOG WALKING

15-Minute Walk: $15

30-Minute Walk: $20

Each Additional Dog: +$5 per walk (only if dogs can be walked together)

Dog Walking is offered on a limited basis Monday through Friday and is scheduled according to location and availability.

Walks are always adjusted based on the individual dog’s age, health, physical ability, behavior, and current weather conditions.

For safety, walks may be shortened or modified during excessive heat, cold, severe weather, poor air quality, or other unsafe conditions. During hot weather, outdoor walking will be limited to a maximum of approximately 30 minutes and may be shortened further when necessary. If appropriate, remaining visit time may be spent providing attention and enrichment indoors or used as credit towards a future walk.

Travel charges may apply outside my normal service area.

PET TRANSPORTATION

Local Transportation: $15

The $15 base transportation rate applies to approved transportation within approximately 5 miles / 10 minutes of The Dog Dasher.

For locations outside the local transportation area:

$15 base transportation rate + $0.50 per mile

Mileage is calculated based on the total travel required from the time I leave The Dog Dasher until I return, including both pickup and drop-off trips when both are requested.

XL RUFFLAND EQUIPMENT FEE

+$5 per scheduled transportation service

My standard transportation setup uses a Large RuffLand kennel.

If your pet requires my XL RuffLand kennel due to their size or transportation needs, an additional $5 equipment/setup fee applies. This covers the additional setup required to load, secure, unload, and store the larger kennel.

Multiple dogs may only be transported together when they can safely and comfortably share the appropriate RuffLand kennel.

Additional fees may apply for extended appointment wait times, multiple stops, or other special transportation circumstances and will always be discussed before booking.

PAYMENT, RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS

All services are subject to availability and are not considered confirmed until approved by The Dog Dasher.

PAYMENT

Boarding & Daycare: Payment may be made by cash or Venmo at drop-off or pickup.

Drop-In Visits & Dog Walking: Cash payment is due at the time of service, or Venmo payment is due upon completion of the scheduled service(s).

Pet Transportation: Payment may be made by cash or Venmo and is due upon completion of the scheduled transportation service unless otherwise discussed in advance.

DEPOSIT POLICY

Deposits are not normally required for reservations.

Clients who cancel a Boarding or extended Drop-In booking may be required to pay a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure future reservations.

This may apply to:

Boarding reservations
Drop-In Visits scheduled for four or more consecutive days

When a deposit is required:

The deposit is due at booking
The deposit is applied toward the total cost of the reservation
Requested dates are not held until the deposit is received
The deposit is non-refundable

Daycare, individual Drop-In Visits or Dog Walking services, and bookings of three days or fewer are currently exempt from the deposit requirement.

Because The Dog Dasher is a small, home-based business with intentionally limited availability, last-minute cancellations can be difficult to refill. This policy helps protect reserved time while allowing me to continue keeping my schedule small and personalized.

RESERVATIONS & RATES

Submitting an inquiry or requesting dates does not guarantee availability. A reservation is only considered confirmed once it has been approved by The Dog Dasher and any applicable booking requirements have been completed.

Rates are subject to change. The rate quoted and confirmed for an existing reservation will be honored unless the reservation or requested services are changed.
